• Fortress start message
  With the emperor dead new opportunities have presented themselves. The emperor left no heirs, and you interpret this as an omen to start a war of conquest. You have heard that other leaders in the surrounding lands have started implementing similar plans so you need to build your strength up soon.
• Dungeon start message
  The emperor of the surface dwellers has died, and dissention is likely as they try to find a new emperor. This is the golden opportunity you have been waiting for. The surface world is ready for change, and change it you will....
• Inferno start message
  The emperors death could not have come at a more fortuitous time. Your armies are just waiting to be unleashed upon the unsuspecting surface dwellers. and they will most assuredly start fighting amongst themselves unaware of the true danger....
• Tower start message
  With the emperor dead and no apparant heirs you realize that war is inevitable. You are determined not to let the empire fall into the wrong hands, and this may well mean that you have to be the aggressor to gain the upper hand.
