    • Сообщение: Kar Komak, a mental construct of Tario, Jeddak of Lothar, told me his story. Isolated from contact with the other cities of Red men, the city of Lothar was dying. The few remaining people of Lothar had developed great mental powers, which they used to conjure imaginary men. Some were used to defend the city, some to serve as pawns in Tario's sadistic entertainments. Kar Komak, padwar of the bowmen defending the city, grew disgusted with Tario's perversions and expressed his displeasure to the Jeddak. He was banished from the city and Tario expected him simply to fade into nothingness once Tario's mental energy was withdrawn. Somehow, Kar Komak retained his reality. Kar Komak warned John Carter that Tario could conjure more bowmen at will out of pure mental energy. Kar Komak had learned something of that power himself, but it only worked when he could channel the great mental energy projected by Tario. Once the bowmen were generated, Kar Komak was able to train them to a higher level of proficiency when they were under his command. He also felt they would retain their reality if he conjured them himself. Kar Komak was convinced that Tario's mental powers could be turned against him. Do not be afraid to challenge Tario. He is almost alone, defending Lothar with mental power only. We will turn his imaginary bowmen against him. Once we gain control of Lothar, I will learn the remainder of his secrets and we will be able to generate more bowmen to help your cause.
